Influenza (Flu)

InfluenzaFlu is caused by influenza virus. The flu is much more serious than a cold. People who have the flu often get body aches, fever, a sore throat and a dry cough. The flu can lead to pneumonia and other serious complications. Pregnant women and people with diabetes, heart disease, and asthma have a greater chance of having bad flu complications. The flu is one of the top ten killers in the U.S., but you can protect yourself. Make sure you, your friends and family get a flu vaccine every year.
